I started this piece with an idea of a female angel with bohemien-like in her look. I have her hair reven black in order to bring out her pale skin. To represent water in her name, I added the blue silk robe which gives her sense of flawless and flexible. To make more contrast between light and dark colors, I had her white wings overlap with the unnatural light source behind her.
